S ay hello the beautiful women who will be accompanying me to China on tomorrow morning. It all feels surreal that I will be traveling to Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong in less than 24 hours. I’ll be honest when saying that my emotions include excitement, but certainly does not lack a little bit of nervousness.
The past couple of weeks have been quite trying and definitely kept me on my toes with graduating (yes, I received my Master’s degree!), conducting my health and wellness ministry meetings and packing for this very trip. I’ll admit at times, I just had to simply stop, breathe and pray. Have you ever felt so overwhelmed and weak in certain life situations? (me too.)
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9
This scripture certainly helped me to press through and ALAS, it’s time to leave the USA and say hello to China! I am ecstatic about being able to try authentic Chinese cuisine first hand because we all know how much I love Asian food, but I have to say that I am actually more excited to visit the Great Wall of China (ahhhh, isn’t it just breath taking?).
There is so much planned for our trip to China and I can not wait to capture every moment (I may even have few surprises for you all, so stay tuned!). Unfortunately, I wanted to let you, my subscribers, know that I will most likely be unable to blog until I return in two weeks. I may have accessibility during my adventure, and if so, I will surely try to post something. Don’t worry, either way, upon returning I will make sure to share with you my entire experience through photos and video. I am sure that I will have much to say about the many things I learn, the Chinese cuisine, my site-seeing adventures, etc. I know that this post is short and sweet, but I probably need to finish packing before I actually board the plane! 您的到來(See you soon!)
MY CHOICE: Study abroad in China!
YOUR CHALLENGE: Stay Tuned! 🙂 But in the meantime, ask yourself, if you were to study abroad, where would you want to go? Hmmm.
