Do you drink enough water daily?
I know that drinking water is one thing I am not so good at. Surprised? Well, here’s the thing. Ironically, water is pretty much the only thing I drink (also, coconut water), other than the occasional alternate beverage choice, but whether I drink enough is the issue at hand.
One of my close friends even bought me one of those huge gallon jugs so that I could refill it each day. That seemed to work at first, that is, until I got tired of lugging that huge thing around with me all day. And nothing makes you feel worse than getting to the end of the night and realizing that you have not even taken the time to drink half it. &—that’s me…every time!
So first you must ask yourself, how much water am I supposed to drink daily? The common answer is 8 cups of water a day. I used to “guesstimate” and say at least 2-3 bottles of water should be enough, right?
WRONG. According to my body weight, I am supposed to be drinking double that…
Take a look at this neat chart I spotted on Instagram.
Okay, so you now know how much water you are supposed to be drinking each day, but I somehow get the feeling that you are still dreading that thought of having to start running to the bathroom every five minutes; I understand. But now, I want you to think about all the BENEFITS of staying hydrated and drinking enough water. Plus, once you start drinking enough water, that urge to go to the restroom so often goes away.

Still not convinced? Well, remember “Fruit Infused Water” blog that I wrote a while back? Well, I recently found a not so expensive “flavor infuser” cup at the local grocery store with the attached lid and I love it! Say hello to a variety of flavored water options without all of those artificial flavoring!
I hope this was enough to convince you to take at least a few more sips of that good old H20!
