“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

Yes, yes, I know exactly what you are thinking and I apologize.  It has been way too long since my last post, BUT the good news is that God is amazing and I have nothing but praises to send his way.  Let me tell you just how amazing he is! He has provided me with any and everything I need and continues to do so.

Let me ask you just a few questions to see if you can relate to this feeling I have right now.  Ever just become so filled with joy and peace, knowing that God will do just as he said he would do?  Ever ask God for something and he didn’t give it to you, but INSTEAD gave you something even better than you had imagined?   Ever want something exactly when YOU wanted it, but God said, “just hold on” and gave it to you just when you REALLY needed it?  Ever asked God for someone that you know you really didn’t need and God gave them to you just to show you that they are not really who you needed or even wanted in the first place?

Without me even telling you exactly what he has done for me, just know that I can answer YES to every last one of those questions.  I sit here today grateful to know that he loves me so much that he will never leave me nor forsake me, but instead provide all of my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

I encourage you to not doubt and worry when something you have been asking God for has not yet made it into your life, but instead rejoice and look forward to it once day being even better than you had expected.  I encourage you to look at what God is currently providing you and use it to the best of your ability, knowing that it’s exactly what you need at this moment in time to do his work and fulfill your purpose (he will give you what you need as you live your life according to his will). I encourage you NOT to be envious or jealous of others as you see them being blessed, but instead thank him, knowing that your time is coming.

Consider this a praise blog, for the Lord has provided me not only with just a job, BUT a job that is rewarding in so many ways and is exactly what I love to do.  Do you have something that you can praise God for?  Can you make a list of everything God has given you and just send up a mighty “thank you?”  This is my challenge to you.  Know that you are blessed.

MY CHOICE: Send up praises and thanks to the Lord for providing everything that I need to be successful in his purpose for my life.

YOUR CHALLENGE:  Recognize that by FAITH, the Lord will provide all of your needs.  Ask and you will receive.

    Bri,
I loved reading this and it is something the Lord has really had on my heart lately. It’s easy to be thankful and praise Him for blessings when everything is going great. Real joy comes when you praise Him even when you can’t see the forest from the trees. I have faith that His plan is so much better than anything I can imagine and I have to put my trust in His will every day. Thank you for sharing.

    xoxo, ST
