Walk that Talk

Is there something you’ve been saying you are going to do for a while now? Maybe it’s your finances holding you back or you think that maybe now is just not the right time? (This may very well be the situation)—BUT what if it’s just time for you to stop daydreaming and only thinking about what you want to do? Is it time to “walk that talk?”

Well, if you know me, you know I love Health and Wellness.  Like everyone, I am far from perfect, but I strive to be a healthier me in every aspect of my life and I have always aimed to help others in the same way.  By writing on my LifewithBri blog and teaching health and wellness classes at my church, I was hoping to reach different individuals and help in any way I could, but something was missing…my certification.

I am pleased to announce that this past week I enrolled into an intensive 11 month Health Coach Training program and began the journey to  become a Board Certified Integrative Health Coach recognized nationally by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.  It’s time to “walk that talk.” At the 6 month point in the program, I will able to begin coaching my very own clients and finally begin a side career in something I am truly passionate about in life!

This is something that I have personally wanted for a while now, but always found an excuse to place is on the back burner–well, not any longer! I has certainly taken me some time to muster up the courage to take this step forward in this new chapter in my life.  With much prayer, so much love and support from family and friends, and my faith in God, I am confident that I am making the right decision. I know that he will continue to provide the much needed strength and continue to open the doors needed for me to be successful (just as he will do for you.)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.- Jeremiah 29:11

Trust me, it’s a lot easier said than done, BUT it will be well worth it.

I look forward to sharing all of the information I am given about nutrition, building strong relationships, physical activity, career health, spiritual health and all other knowledge I gain throughout this program.

So what area in your life do you need to begin to “walk that talk”?  Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to do too much at once, but what is that one thing that you really want to focus on accomplishing? I say go for it. I say begin placing one foot in front of the other, holding tight to God’s unchanging hand and letting him lead you into his marvelous light! Walk that talk with me…
