As a child I remember having some sort of anxiety but no where near to what I have been experiencing recently. My anxiety as a child included stage fright , speaking in public, monsters under the bed, the dark, those sorts of things. As I got older my anxiety strengthened and in 2021 it became severe and debilitating. Today I will be listing 5 books to read for anxiety.

I found it very difficult to get a hold of my fears. The longer it went on , my life became controlled and consumed with fear and thoughts of what ifs.
Looking back today I can say that I am forever grateful for those in my life and in my community. They reached out and recommended these books that helped me with my anxiety tremendously.
Today I am going to give you 5 books about anxiety that transformed my mind.

Winning The War In Your Mind by Craig Groschell
This was the first book I read to help me with my anxiety. Let me tell you, it helped me make a huge step in the beginning of my journey with anxiety.
Craig Groschell is a Pastor at Life Church. Life church is known as the creator of the famous Bible app most of us have on our phones.
As a Pastor, Craig has dealt with his fair share of anxiety. He doesamazing job of sharing his testomies and what he did to get further along in his journey of fear.
He includes plenty of scripture that lines up with modern science. It is so fascinating to learn about all the tools that we could use in our every day lives when battling anxiety.
#2 Book To Read For Anxiety
Don’t Give The Enemy A Seat At Your Table by Louie Guiglio
Louie guiglio is a Pastor at Passion city Church. His church is widely known as holding one of the biggest Christian conferences in the world called Passion.
Louie explains in his book that Jesus has the power over the enemy. He explains that we need to turn our focus onto Jesus when we are facing trials and pain. With Jesus , battling anxiety is far more worth it than to turn to worldly distractions to ease the struggles.
#3 Book To Read For Anxiety
Live Fearless by Sadie Robertson
This is a book I am currently reading and so far it has done wonders for me. Some of you may know Sadie Robertson from Duck Dynasty tv show, or know her from Dancing with the Stars.
In this book Sadie takes us through some of her biggest fears and anxieties that she has struggled with. She explains how she got through them by the strength of the Lord and through his Word.
#4 Book To Read For Anxiety
Live by Sadie Robertson
I have recently finished this book out of Sadie Robertsons book series “Live”. In this book Sadie shares many stories of people in the Bible who have had some of the same struggles we all may face from time to time.
She does an amazing Job of explaining the Bible stories in a way that we can apply them to our lives.
#5 Book To Read For Anxiety
Get out of your head by Jennie Allen
This is a book I actually have not read yet but I have listened to Jennie Allen talk about this book on YouTube.
In the video she talked about in her book she shared one of her darkest moments in her life when she struggled with fear and anxiety.
I related a lot to her way of thinking and shared some of the same fears and thought patterns that she has. So for me it was really nice to hear someone else’s testimonies about similar things.
